Being a volunteer changes your life. It gives you a new perspective, a new way of looking at your own problems when you have a chance to understand others. The training is really beneficial for your own communication skills and relationships.
Please consider volunteering at the Crisis Centre!
The Crisis Prevention, Intervention & Information Centre for Northern BC generally offers volunteer training three times a year. If you are interested in taking this valuable training and are eager to help people in crisis, stop by the Crisis Centre and pick up an application or download one at the bottom of this page. Once you have completed and submitted your application, you will be contacted for an interview. Please note that due to the increased cost to train new volunteers, we are now asking trainees for a $40 non-refundable fee to defray the cost of training.
Volunteer training sessions are ongoing, and we are always accepting applications.
Next Volunteer Training: June 3&4, 10&11 and 23&24
